3-position OFF/ON/ON push/pull switch. Direct replacement for the OEM landing/taxi light switch on various older Cessna aircraft models. Replaces Cessna part number 0713035 and S4628-1989 . This switch has improvements over the OEM switch including brass plating for better corrosion resistance as well as a longer threaded barrel to allow for thicker panel depths. In addition, the push/pull knob threads are 10/32 SAE; early switches may be 8/32 threads, so take that into consideration if you wish to use your old knob to match existing switches.Switch Functions:Knob pressed all the way in: ALL circuits OFFKnob pulled halfway: Circuit #1 (Taxi Light) ONKnob Fully Extended: Circuit #1 and #2 (Landing and Taxi Light) ON*Depending on how the switch is wired, the switch may not operate as indicated above. We tried for a few days to get through on the phone but it just rang. Finally someone answered and shipping was successfully changed and part was on it's way to us in Canada.
Part looked good when we opened the box, but when the Mechanic went to install the knob, he found that it had no internal threads!
We made do, but that was not a good Quality check on Aero-Lites part.
Switch was exactly what was ordered and fixed the problem. Nice packaging. Prompt Shipping.
