Engineered as a true direct replacement for #1004 12-volt double-contact bayonet base, B6 "bomb-shaped" glass incandescent bulbs commonly used in marine applications as well as interior dome/map lights, convenience lights, storage compartments, etc. Virtually indentical dimensions guarantee a plug and play fit. Draws only 220 milliamps versus 1.0 amp for the incandescent models .  This led incorporates a diffuser lens cover over the LED to eliminate any "hotspots" in the light projection for a smooth omni-directional illumination. Compatible with base ground and/or positive ground applications.
