Engineered as a true direct replacement for 28-volt single-contact bayonet base, B6 "bomb-shaped" glass incandescent bulbs commonly used in interior dome/map lights, convenience lights, storage compartments, etc. Virtually indentical dimensions guarantee a plug and play fit. Draws only 0.08 amps (versus 1.0amp) for the incandescent models. This led incorporates a diffuser lens cover over the LED to eliminate any "hotspots" in the light projection for a smooth omni-directional illumination.
