Developed specifically as an LED replacement for high-wattage #1157 dual-filament incandescent vehicle stop/tail light bulbs. This bulb features both a "high" and "low" intensity inputs in order to mimic the dual filament in the original 1157 incandescent bulb. The BAY15D can be identified by the dual electrical contacts on the bottom of the metal base, as well as the indexing tabs being offset to ensure the correct installation. Sealed design suitable for damp environments featuring a durable UV -resistant polycarbonate lens cover.
