One of my customers has an Experimental that needed good lighting as opposed to the old "standard" bulbs that you would find in a rag-wing piper that he was using. I would estimate 5x brighter lighting and, of course, far less amp draw. The customer is stoked and I will use these lights again on other customer aircraft moving forward considering the improvement, quality, customer service, and price-point compared to other lights on the market.
Aero-Lites are amazing. The quality, fit and finish are second to none. They do not cause any unwanted noise in your avionics, and they're super bright. AAAA++++. I now have one in each wingtip, and one in the cowel of my Cherokee.
They really light up the runway!!! They also give your plane a more modern look. If you are on the fence with these, just pull the trigger and get one. You won't regret it.
I bought these lights to replace the original incandescent 100w lights that were existing in my plane. From the moment I unpacked these lights I was impressed with the solid construction but it wasn't until I plugged them in that the difference was night and day. I love flying at twilight and at night. Thank you for making such a great quality product.
Fit perfectly in the bezel, looks very bright and intense light. Can't speak for longevity as just installed it but will give it 5 stars plus if it lasts a few years.
